Located in the peaceful and spectacular Snake River valley, the popular resort community of Keystone continues to flourish more every year.
Keystone’s two villages, Keystone Village and River Run, host a variety of choice restaurants, beautifully decorated accommodations, cozy cafes and music-filled nightspots. An eclectic mix of shops and boutiques abound. Here you will find wine tasting and elegant galleries, weekly torchlight parades in the winter and fireside storytelling.
Come holiday season, there are fun-filled children’s activities and caroling through the streets. It’s all at the base of the world-renowned Keystone Mountain, which offers a variety of exciting ski terrain on three separate and unique peaks. Keystone also boasts the only night skiing in the region, as well as the largest conference facility in Colorado west of the Continental Divide.
For kids, the new Adventure Point at Keystone offers a wintertime diversion with on-mountain tubing and on a variety of runs. In the summertime, Keystone thrives with the warm-weather activities of mountain biking, hiking, fishing, horseback riding, tennis and golfing.In addition to its renowned Keystone Ranch golf course, Keystone celebrated the opening of its second championship golf course in July of 2000, the highly anticipated River Course.
Keystone makes it easy to take advantage of all the various activities with the Mountain Passport. Available in both winter and summer, the Passport gives visitors the ability to sample various resort activities for one low price. Special events at Keystone include the Celtic Festival at River Run, the Bluegrass and Beer Festival, arts festivals, sports competitions and more. Keystone also offers plenty of ski-in/ski-out lodging and free transportation within the resort.
